I have a pretty basic video capture card, and I want to record video from analog (VCR), to then use DVD Lab Pro to create a DVD from that video. What is the best codec/format to use in VirtualDub, or any other capturing program you might recommend? What would yield the best end quality DVD? I'm having trouble getting video files into a DVD program called DVD lab.
I've established that there's something called a DVD compliant video file. But i have no idea how to create this "voodoo" format.
Can anyone please recommend a method of creating/converting video to a DVD fail proof format?
I'm surprise that even Premiere doesn't export to mpeg, mp2 etc...
Cheers.

motley replied: "ConvertXtoDVD is a program that coverts video into DVD format and if you have nero you can automatically burn after its done. If the DVD will be to big to burn on a DVD5 unselect option to burn DVD. It will save in a folder to where you use DVDShrink or DVD Fab Platinum to decrypt, shrink, and then burn. if you have more questions email me."
